Learn More about Wedding Albums

Your wedding photos will help you remember the joy you felt on your big day and why you chose and fell in love with your spouse.

In the meantime, a wedding album can make it easy to flip through your wedding photos whenever you like and to share your love story with others!

I believe wedding albums are a priceless heirloom, which is why a wedding album credit is included in all VRP wedding photography packages.

You can learn more about wedding albums here. Most VRP brides and grooms purchase either a 40-page 10x10 linen wedding album ($1400 value) or a 40-page 10x10 leather wedding album ($1675 value).

An heirloom wedding album is the perfect way to remember and preserve your wedding day!

FAQ's

Absolutely! While 12 hours is the absolute maximum my team and I will shoot, you can add additional hours to any collection for $375/hour.

That’s a great question! I work with a handful of second shooters who I’ve trained to shoot exactly like I shoot. Some have photography businesses of their own, some are strictly second shooters, and one is my husband (Zach).

Because my second shooters understand how I shoot, all of your wedding photos will be light, airy, and consistent with my photo style, which I hope you love! In other words, when you look through your gallery, the quality of both my photos and my second shooter’s photos will be the same.

Having engagement photos taken will help you get comfortable in front of the camera. Very few people love having their photos taken. Having engagement photos taken can help put you at ease in front of the camera, so you can relax on your big day and soak up every moment!

2

You only get to be fiancés and experience this phase of life once. It’s an incredible season, and photos will help you remember this special time!

1

Engagement photos might feel a little “extra,” but I include complimentary engagement photos in all packages for a couple reasons:

Engagement photos can be scheduled on Monday-Thursday evenings or mornings anytime before your wedding. If you’d like to use your photos for save the dates, I recommend booking your session at least six months before your big day.

Because I reserve weekends for weddings, I shoot engagement sessions Monday-Thursday evenings two hours before the sun sets or at sunrise. These are the best times for photos because this is when the light is the softest and prettiest. And, great light is key to great photos!

Not interested in engagement photos? No worries! While I do highly recommend having engagement photos taken so you can feel comfortable in front of the camera on your wedding day, engagement photos are simply a gift from me to you.

If you decide engagement photos aren’t for you, that’s okay! That said, because engagement photos are a gift, opting out of these sessions will not change the package price.

You’re going to receive SO many photos, you won’t want the unedited images! I know how much my wedding photos mean to me, and as a result, I promise I will edit and deliver any and every image I know you’ll treasure.

Basically, I’ll deliver everything where you and your fiancé look your best (no blinking, sneezing, etc.), so you can remember exactly how perfect your big day was!

That said, I don’t deliver unedited images. You deserve to have photos that look as wonderful as possible, and editing ensures that happens.

Not at all! Feeling uneasy about being in front of a camera just means you’re a normal person with a healthy amount of humility!

With the exception of maybe professional models, I don’t know a soul who loves having their photos taken. Heck, I’m a photographer, and even I get nervous in front of the camera!

To help you and your fiancé feel relaxed and confident, I’ll tell you exactly what to do during your photos and give you very specific instructions. You don’t have to worry about a thing!

While I love working with type-A brides, I only work with kind, respectful couples who are willing to trust my skill set.

If you’re looking for a photographer you will pay attention to the little details and make changes if she knows a change will result in better photos, I’m your girl!

However, if you’re looking for someone to do exactly as you command, I’m not the right photographer for you.

Long story short, other than your family photo shot list, please don’t send me a shot list. Again, I love lists, too, but you can trust us to give you photos you love!

Increases the likelihood that we’ll miss a candid moment. If we’re looking back and forth from your shot list all day long, we might miss sweet, candid moments—like Grandpa sneaking a hug.

2

Limits our ability to do what we know will work best. For example, you might want photos taken in a specific location, but if the light isn’t good, your photos won’t be great. I want you to love your photos, so I need to have the freedom to make adjustments if needed, and having to work from a list can prevent that.

1

When you’re an organized person, I know creating lists can practically be a love language. But, this is where you’ll need to trust my skill set.

Before your wedding, the only photo list I’ll ask you to send me is your family photo shot list. Every family dynamic is different, so I’ll definitely need a list to work from.

However, for the rest of the day, we have systems in place to give you epic weddings photos.

When we have to work from a detailed shot list, this:

Congrats again!
