Now Hiring: Assistant for Victoria Rayburn Photography

With a very busy 2020 wedding season, Victoria Rayburn Photography is looking to hire a detail-oriented, organized individual to help serve brides and grooms from an administrative role! 

This individual will be needed 5-10 hours per week and will have the ability to work from home once training is complete (with the exception of days where errands need to be run), making this a perfect position for someone in the midst of social distancing!

 

About Victoria Rayburn Photography

Victoria Rayburn Photography is a Lafayette, Indiana wedding photographer who believes that wedding photos can be used as a tool to inspire couples to fight for their marriage. Victoria shoots 20 weddings per year as well as engagement photos, anniversary photos, and other photos.

Victoria works from her home office with her goldendoodle—Hattie. 

 

About Assistant Job Opening

 

Responsibilities

• Scheduling blog posts through WordPress
• Submitting weddings for publication
• Sharing galleries with vendors
• Scheduling social media posts
• Uploading client galleries and slideshows
• Managing Pinterest
• Creating wedding day timelines
• Fixing broken links and adjusting other content as needed
• Ordering, packaging, and mailing client gifts
• Proofreading
• Keeping detailed records of hours worked and tasks completed
• Industry research
• Potentially responding to emails
• Other tasks based on personal interests

 

Qualifications

• Extremely detail oriented (understands that triple checking things is important)
• Fast learner
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Self motivated 
• Active on social media (has an understanding of Facebook and Instagram)
• Owns a reliable laptop
• Isn’t afraid to share ideas and suggestions
• Located in or near Lafayette, Indiana
• Excellent grammar
• Available 5-10 hours per week depending on tasks needing completion (will vary depending on season)
• Minimum of 3 hours of availability on Wednesdays between 9:00 am and 4:30 pm (only required day)
• Preferred but not necessarily required:
  • WordPress or basic web design knowledge
  • Graphic design skills
  • Writing and content development experience

 

Payment & Benefits

• $9-$13 per hour depending on experience
• Ability to work from home
• Flexible schedule (Wednesdays are the only required days.)
• On-the-job training based on interests (If there’s something you want to learn, we can make that happen!)
