“It feels funny to be here in dress clothes,” Jordan said as we walked to the first location I wanted to use for his and Hanna’s engagement photos at Fairfield Lakes Park.
As an outdoorsy couple, Jordan and Hanna love to fish, hunt, and hike, but it probably did feel odd to be at one of their favorite local fishing spots in khakis and a dress! Even so, this laid-back, nature-loving couple looked stunning for their engagement session in Lafayette, Indiana!
Jordan & Hanna are also Saint Joseph’s College Pumas!
Jordan and Hanna met at Saint Joseph’s College, which is coincidentally where I also met them. I’ve shared this before, but since Saint Joe closed, I’m very thankful that photography has allowed me to keep in touch with so many Pumas. In fact, I have three Puma weddings within the next year scheduled!
Even though The Joe has closed, it’s amazing to see how God has used the school to influence people’s lives. If it weren’t for SJC, Jordan and Hanna may not have met, and I probably wouldn’t be photographing their wedding.
So, cheers to Saint Joe and how it has blessed countless people!
Jordan & Hanna’s wedding day will be just as laid back as they are.
I get excited for all of my couple’s weddings, but I am especially excited for Jordan and Hanna’s big day because it’s going to be super laid back—just like they are! They’re tying the knot outside, serving burgers, having a friend bartend, and partying the night away at The Barn in Lafayette, Indiana. It’s going to be a blast!
While Jordan and Hanna have been very organized during the wedding planning process, I think it’s safe to say that they’re my most laid back bride and groom of 2018. Their goals are simply to get married and have a great time with the people they love, and I can’t wait to capture this for them!
