The Dexters: Christmas-Themed Maternity Photos at Purdue’s Horticulture Park

As a wedding photographer, I’m convinced that I’m blessed to work with the best couples. And, to be completely honest, Logan and Becky Dexter are one of my favorite VRP couples ever. 

Logan and Becky became husband and wife in 2019 with a gorgeous pastel wedding, and since their big day, Becky and I have stayed in touch–largely because I’m convinced that we’re the same person. And, when Logan and Becky shared that they were expecting, I was ecstatic! I mean, between Logan’s sweet demeanor and how great Becky is with kids (She’s literally a preschool teacher.), Baby Dexter is going to be blessed with the best parents! 

I could gush about Logan and Becky forever, and I cannot wait to meet their little man, but for now, I’m thrilled to share the Dexters’ Christmas-themed maternity photos at Purdue’s Horticulture Park on the blog! 

 

Wanting to capture this special season of life, the Dexters schedule a mini Christmas-themed maternity shoot. 

Wanting to capture this special season of life, Becky reached out to me and asked if they could schedule mini Christmas-themed maternity photos. 

Now, I don’t typically take stand-alone mini sessions. (I usually schedule eight to ten on a designated Saturday a couple times a year.) However, since I just adore this couple, winter is my slow season, and they were willing to make the trip to West Lafayette, I happily made an exception. 

Their shoot was freezing cold, but—as always—Logan and Becky were troopers and killed their session! Also, just wait until you see the props they included. They’re the cutest!

Logan and Becky, I just couldn’t be more excited for you guys! You’re such wonderful, thoughtful people, and I have no doubt that you’re going to be the best parents. I cannot wait to meet sweet Caden—possibly this summer for family photos!
