I’ve always loved taking engagement photos, but in 2020, being able to photograph couples anxiously waiting to get married did my soul a lot of good.
You see, between stay-at-home orders and gathering size restrictions brought on by COVID, many spring 2020 weddings were postponed. And, as someone who loves her job, this was disappointing. After a long winter (which doesn’t include a lot of shooting for most Midwest photographers), I just wanted to be behind the camera again.
Thankfully, however, Indiana released outdoor work to resume in April (if social distancing could be practiced), and I had the privilege of getting the beautiful people you’re about to see in front of the camera for their engagement photos!
