A 6:40 am engagement session? I’m pretty sure Brandon and Brittany thought I was insane for suggesting this, but they were troopers! And, I’m so excited to share Brandon and Brittany’s Celery Bog spring engagement photos in West Lafayette, Indiana on the blog!
Brandon & Brittany have known each other since middle school.
This darling couple goes way back. Brittany and her family moved to Indiana from Canada when she was a kid, leading Brittany to meet the love of her life.
Brandon and Brittany met in middle school but didn’t start dating until their senior year of high school. They’ve been together ever since, making them high school sweethearts!
About two years ago, Brandon popped the question at the Cheesecake Factory. (Smart guy, right?! The love of your life, cheesecake, and a ring? It doesn’t get any better than that!)
This darling couple chose Celery Bog spring engagement photos in West Lafayette, Indiana.
Brandon and Brittany wanted to enjoy their engagement, so while they’ve been engaged for two years, they did all of their planning pretty quickly.
I met with Brandon and Brittany in February 2019, and they decided to make me their wedding photographer. (Yay!)
Wanting to make sure that Indiana was green for their engagement photos but not cut it too close to their July 6, 2019 wedding, Brandon and Brittany chose opted for May engagement photos. And, I’m so glad they did! In my opinion, May is the prettiest month for photos in Indiana!
Due to Brandon’s work schedule and my weekends being full with weddings, Brandon, Brittany, and I decided that a sunrise, weekday session would work best. (I schedule all sessions at sunrise or sunset, because great light is key to great photos!)
They may’ve thought I was crazy, but Brandon, Brittany, and Brittany’s best friend Haylee—who helped Brittany get ready for the session—graciously met me for the couple’s Celery Bog spring engagement photos at 6:40 am!

Lucky for me, I don’t have to wait long to get Brandon and Brittany in front of the camera again, because they’re tying the knot on Saturday, July 6, 2019!
The future Mr. and Mrs. Rehmel are going to celebrate their wedding at Exploration Acres in Lafayette, Indiana with their closest family and friends.
