It’s always fun to take senior photos for graduates who are truly passionate about their alma maters. And, Elyse Kady certainly loves Purdue University!
I had a great time hanging out with Elyse (and Sam) and photographing her on areas of campus that are dear to her. This Purdue alumna has big things ahead, but today, I’m so excited to share her Class of 2021 Purdue senior photos on the blog!
Elyse’s favorite part of her Purdue experience has been the friendships she’s made.
Since starting her Purdue journey four years ago, Elyse has been very active on campus, especially in her sorority—Alpha Xi Delta. In fact, she has loved her sorority experience and her Alpha Xi Delta sisters so much that she decided to stay in the house through her senior year!
It doesn’t take long to see that Elyse is a fun, outgoing person. And, when I asked her what her favorite part about Purdue was, without hesitating, she said, “The people and relationships I’ve made.”
On top of leading an active social life, the last four years have also included a lot of studying for Elyse. Purdue’s Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences program is very challenging. But, the fact that Elyse will begin grad school in the fall and start working toward her Master’s in Audiology is a testament to how hard this social woman has worked as an undergrad!
Elyse, during your time at Purdue, you’ve clearly done an incredible job of balancing relationships and school. That’s no easy feat. Congratulations, girl!
Elyse booked a two-hour senior photo shoot to have photos taken at all of her favorite Purdue locations.
Because Purdue means so much to Elyse, she knew she knew she wanted photos at several campus locations. As a result, she and her mom decided to book a two-hour senior session.
This gave us time to hit up the iconic Purdue spots like The Engineering Fountain, The Union, The Bell Tower, and The Purdue Arch. Then, we also visited locations that are sentimental to Elyse, including AXID and Delta Chi.
Elyse also decided to include her boyfriend, Sam, in her shoot. Elyse’s sorority and Sam’s fraternity (Delta Chi) were brother-sister houses, and these two have a pretty darling Greek-life love story if I do say so myself!
Elyse (and Sam), thank you for going all over campus with me! I hope visiting some of your favorite places on campus for your photos was a fun way to commemorate your time at Purdue!

Like I said before, Elyse will begin grad school in the fall, and Sam will be entering the workforce in just a few weeks. They’ve loved their time as undergrads, but big, exciting things are certainly ahead!
