When you’re graduating and getting married in the same year, you almost have to combine your engagement and graduation photos. 2022 is proving to be a huge year for Evan Walsh and Morgan Churchill, and I’m so excited to share their combined engagement and graduation photos at Purdue University on the blog!
Evan & Morgan go way back & have already lived a lot of life together.
Now, before you see their graduation and engagement photos, I can’t help sharing that Morgan and Evan go way back. You see, they met in elementary school and have been together since their freshman year of high school!
This darling couple dated all through high school, and then, because they both decided to study agriculture (Evan ag systems management and Morgan ag business), they also both decided to attend Purdue University—not necessarily because of one another but because Purdue has an incredible ag program.
They might be young, but Evan and Morgan have been together for eight years, and I think it’s safe to say that complementary personalities, shared values, and a love for agriculture have made these high school sweethearts lifetime partners—both in life and on the farm.
And, now, they’re getting married!
Evan proposed to Morgan on HIS birthday.
There’s a running joke among Morgan and Evan’s friends and family that Morgan planned her own engagement party.
You see, for Evan’s 21st birthday, Morgan planned a party and invited pretty much all of their friends and family. During the evening festivities, Evan gave a bit of a speech to thank everyone for coming, and as he started talking, friends and family told Morgan to go stand by him.
Morgan was confused, but she’s as sweet as can be, and like the excellent hostess she is, she went and stood near Evan.
Then, while Evan had the attention of the people he and Morgan love most, he got down on one knee and asked his high school sweetheart and his best friend to be his wife using his grandmother’s wedding ring.
The rest of the evening was spent not just celebrating and toasting Evan’s 21 years of life but also celebrating the life Evan and Morgan have already started creating together. How sweet is that?!

Evan and Morgan both graduated from Purdue in May 2022, and they’ll become husband and wife in August 2022. With two huge milestones within months of one another and since they knew they wanted to take their engagement photos on the campus that’s been a huge part of their relationship, Morgan and Evan decided to combine their engagement and graduation photos at Purdue University.
And, I have to say that even at sunrise (which is when we took these photos), Evan and Morgan are so much fun to hang out with! From cap tossing to champagne popping, Evan and Morgan killed their engagement session. I mean, just scroll and you’ll see exactly what I mean! These two both have such genuine smiles!
I cannot wait to get them in front of the camera again at Churchill Family Farms this summer!

Evan and Morgan, congratulations on your engagement AND on becoming Boilermaker alumni! While you have so much to celebrate this year, I hope you always remember to celebrate your marriage and the life you’re building together.
