Horses? A motorcycle? A gorgeous property? AND a super sweet VRP bride and groom?!
Dalton and Tiffany did an incredible job of making their engagement photos true to who they are as a couple, and I’m so excited to share their engagement photos featuring Tiffany’s horses and Dalton’s Harley and a bit of their love story on the blog!
Tiffany seemed so good to be true that Dalton thought he was being catfished.
About three and a half years ago, Dalton and Tiffany both downloaded Plenty of Fish not thinking much of it. Well, until they matched.
They started texting, but they were both pretty skeptical. Tiffany was simply being cautious, but Dalton didn’t think Tiffany was real. In fact, he thought this gorgeous, passionate girl couldn’t possibly exist and that he was being catfished!
After four months of texts and phone calls, Tiffany agreed to meet Dalton for dinner—Mexican food specifically, which is apparently the way to Tiffany’s heart.
They went out for dinner, watched a movie, and were surprised by how comfortable they naturally were together. (And, Dalton was blown away by the fact that Tiffany—in fact—did exist!)
That was at the end of 2017, and right away, Dalton and Tiffany knew they’d found someone special. Since then, this darling couple has been spending three days a week competing in a bowling league together, their weekends riding the bike to check out restaurants that are within a couple hours, their evenings walking their dogs around the block as they share about their days, any opportunity they have to hike or be in nature, and every moment supporting one another.
After getting to hang out with Dalton and Tiffany for their engagement session, I can say that there are countless reasons I adore this couple, but I have to say that what I love most—and I think their family and friends would agree—is how passionate they both are and how they’ve shared their passions and cultivated new ones to spend quality time together. Dalton and Tiffany, don’t ever stop doing this!

While Dalton is a very laid back, go-with-the-flow guy, I think it’s safe to say that he’s also a romantic.
Knowing that Tiffany would want a private moment to themselves but be able to celebrate with her family after, Dalton worked with Tiffany’s family to plan the perfect proposal.
Last July, Dalton and Tiffany went to Georgia to visit Tiffany’s parents. While they were there, Tiffany’s parents sent the couple to Savannah and Tybee Island for an overnight stay and date night.
Tiffany and Dalton (who are big foodies) found a restaurant on the river in Savannah and enjoyed great food and drinks and spent the evening checking out the city.
Then, the next morning, Dalton and Tiffany decided that they wanted to see the sunrise on Tybee Island, so they headed that direction and found a cozy spot on the beach to watch the sun come up over the water.
Tiffany thought they were simply enjoying this beautiful moment and opportunity together, but as the sun started to peek up above the horizon, Dalton told Tiffany how thankful he was for her and asked if she’d be his wife. And, she said yes!
When they got back to Tiffany’s parents’ house, Tiffany was thrilled to share the news and was very impressed by her parents’ and siblings’ ability to keep such a big secret and help prevent any suspicion!

Now, Tiffany is actually from my hometown, so I was very excited to reconnect with her about her and Dalton’s wedding photos!
Wanting to make their engagement photos true to who they both are, Tiffany sent me an email a couple months before their engagement session asking if her horses and Dalton’s motorcycle could be included in their shoot. “I just want to include something I love and something he loves,” she said.
And, guys, I have to say that I was SO excited!
Not that there’s anything wrong with simply dressing up and having engagement photos taken, but it’s so special when couples decide to utilize locations, items, or animals that are special to them and their relationship in their photos.
While we started Dalton and Tiffany’s engagement session on Tiffany’s grandma’s gorgeous property, we then went back to Tiffany’s moms’ house in Veedersburg, Indiana to shoot photos with two of the six horses—Forest and Piper.
While Piper is Tiffany’s horse, and Tiffany barrel races with her, Forest has been part of Tiffany’s life since the very beginning. In fact, they were born just months apart! So, he—of course—needed to be included in these photos too.
After taking photos with the gorgeous horses, Dalton grabbed his bike for the finale of Dalton and Tiffany’s engagement photos. I don’t know much about motorcycles, but I do love the classic look of this bike and the fact that it plays just a key role in Dalton and Tiffany’s date nights and weekends. I think it’s safe to say that they’ll never regret having photos taken with the bike!

Dalton and Tiffany, I can’t begin to explain how much I loved having the two of you in front of the camera for your engagement photos. Between your go-with-the-flow attitudes and Dalton’s ability to make a new beer suddenly appear, I loved just hanging out with you guys.
I have no doubt that your wedding at Finkbiner Gala Barn is going to be gorgeous and include great food and a very fun, packed dance floor.
