When your kids have kids and have jobs that take them across the country, it can be difficult to make family photos possible.
However, knowing the whole Knochel family would be together for a few days for Fountain Park, Sarah wanted to make photos possible for her parents. And, I’m so excited to share the Knochels’ extended family photos on their farm in Remington, Indiana on the blog!
Sarah purchased a VRP gift certificate for her parents for Christmas, & Chris of Velvet Lotus Photography helped make these photos possible.
This past Christmas, Sarah Knochel contacted me about getting a gift certificate for her parents for family photos. (By the way, Sarah is a seamstress in Indianapolis and does an INCREDIBLE job with wedding dress alterations. Brides, if you’re looking for a seamstress, check out Something Wonderful!)
I’ve worked with Sarah in a wedding vendor capacity and actually went to high school with Aaron—Sarah’s younger brother—and was so looking forward to getting the Knochel family in front of the camera while everyone was visiting. However, when we started comparing schedules, Sarah found out that the whole family would only be together for a couple days. And, unfortunately, I was already booked.
Not wanting the Knochel family to miss out on this opportunity for family photos, my good friend Chris Deckard of Velvet Lotus Photography agreed to associate shoot this amazing family for me. (In other words, Chris shot the photos, and I did the editing.)
While I wish I could’ve been there in person, I’m so thankful to Chris and that the Knochels were able to have extended family photos taken while they were all together, because chances like this don’t come often enough!
