I understand how much your wedding photos mean to you and how much work you’re putting into planning every last detail of your big day. As a VRP bride, you can relax and enjoy your wedding day knowing you’ve chosen a team of photographers who are just as detail-oriented as you are, will put thought into every shot, and will pay attention to all of the little details to ensure that you and your spouse love your wedding photos.
Ready to see photos of the most adorable couple? Because I’m so excited to share these!
Nick and Andrea are high school sweethearts from Rensselaer, Indiana. They now live in Indianapolis where Nick is an architect and Andrea is an accountant (talk about a power couple). They love being outdoors and are genuinely amazing people to be around. Andrea’s smile lights up every room she’s in, and I’m pretty sure Nick can make friends anywhere.
I’m blessed to know Nick and Andrea through an odd number of connections. They’re from my husband’s (Zach’s) hometown; Nick’s brother’s Chris (who is also getting married this year) is Zach’s best friend; and Andrea and I both went to Saint Joseph’s College and worked for Gatherings Wedding & Party Rentals. I’m thankful for these connections because they’ve allowed me to shoot Nick and Andrea’s wedding!
When you’re in your mid 20s, it seems like all of your friends and family are getting engaged! Wanting a location that was a little different, we chose Carmel, Indiana, which is just outside of Indianapolis and where Nick and Andrea lived before moving to Indy.
Nick and Andrea posed perfectly by the Palladium (The Center for the Performing Arts), Carmel’s City Hall, and everywhere else Zach and I dragged them around the city.
When the session was finished, Zach and I even had the privilege of having dinner with Nick and Andrea. Side note: I highly recommend the shrimp poke at Kona Grill!
Choosing outfits for engagement photos can be hard, but Nick and Andrea did an amazing job! I usually tell couples to bring three outfits: a dressy outfit, a casual outfit, and an outfit of choice that reflects their personalities.
Since Nick and Andrea enjoy hiking together, their outfit of choice was hiking attire and their hiking shoes. They’re the cutest!
Nick and Andrea live in the city now, but their May 19th wedding will be in their hometown. They plan to have an outdoor ceremony in the park and party the night away at eMbers (This is actually where our wedding reception was).
Nick and Andrea are an incredible couple, and I have no doubt that their wedding day will be as fantastic, laidback, and fun as they are. May can’t get here fast enough!
