Frank Berenda Fitness Training: Personal Trainer Branding Photos in Downtown Lafayette, Indiana

Get ready for a proud big sister moment, because today, I have the pleasure of sharing about my baby brother’s business and his personal trainer branding photos in downtown Lafayette, Indiana on the blog! 

 

Frank Berenda is a personal trainer in Lafayette, Indiana. 

Frank has always had a passion for sports and working out, and I think it’s safe to say that he knew at a young age what he wanted to do with his life—be a personal trainer. And, now, he’s doing exactly that in downtown Lafayette! 

(In case you know my family personally and are confused right now about why I’m calling Mason “Frank,” here’s the story. Frank Mason is named after our great grandfather. As a kid, our mom just couldn’t bring herself to call a baby “Frank.” So, my family has always called Mason by his middle name. He answers to both names and doesn’t mind either; however, as an adult, he chooses to go by Frank.) 

Frank hasn’t been in Lafayette, Indiana long (By the way, it’s been so great to have family in town!), but his business is growing quickly. He’s passionate about what he does and has done a great job of getting out and meeting other small business owners in the community. (Pretty sure the desire to run a business runs deep in the Berenda blood!)

 

Frank takes a unique approach to personal training. 

While Frank is certainly personable, what sets him apart from other personal trainers is the approach he takes with his clients. You see, while many trainers take a more coach-like approach (that often includes yelling), Frank takes an encouraging approach to inspire his clients to do their best while helping ensure that they don’t risk injury. 

After all, according to Frank, making working out part of your regular routine is what will help keep you physically and mentally healthy—not forcing your body past its limits. 

Frank offers personal training services at Sunshine Yoga & Wellness, which is located on Columbia across from the courthouse in downtown Lafayette. In addition to personal training services, he also teaches tabata, AMRAP, and other group fitness classes.

Because Frank loves downtown Lafayette & is passionate about supporting the local economy, Frank wanted to take his personal trainer branding photos in downtown Lafayette, Indiana. 

If you know me at all, you know that I’m very passionate about supporting small businesses. And, Frank definitely shares my passion! 

You see, Frank and I have been blessed to watch our grandparents and several aunts and uncles run small businesses, and we’ve witnessed firsthand how hard these amazing people work. This has given Frank and I both a passion for shopping small and local whenever we can. 

And, because this is a core value for Frank, he wanted to have his photos taken in downtown Lafayette with many of the small businesses he loves in the background. (Example: Peep Chumley’s. Frank works out often enough that he can enjoy schooner night on the regular!)

Frank and I grabbed photos in Sunshine Yoga & Wellness and then hit up a few other spots around the square in downtown Lafayette. Then, Chelsea and Skip (Frank’s girlfriend—whom our whole family adores—and pup) met us on the John T. Myers Pedestrian Bridge for a few photos. Aren’t they the cutest little fam?!

Mason, your business is still young, but it’s growing quickly because you’re doing the work. I am so proud of your passion and drive. And, I absolutely love having you, Chelsea, and Skip in Lafayette with us now.
