Next September, Jett and Kaylee will become husband and wife on Jett’s parents’ gorgeous property in Frankfort, Indiana. (The Yearys are professional landscapers and own Start to Finish Landscaping. Their property is incredible. Just wait until you see!)
Wanting to get a bit of a preview of their big day and to capture the fall leaves, Jett and Kaylee decided to do their engagement session on the Yeary family’s property as well.
While I can’t wait for Jett and Kaylee’s September 18, 2021 wedding, I’m so excited to share their private property fall engagement photos in Frankfort, Indiana on the blog!
Jett & Kaylee’s relationship escalated quickly because they knew that they’d found the one.
When you break down the last two years, it’s crazy to think about how much life Jett and Kaylee have lived in a short amount of time.
In 2018, this sweet couple met through a mutual friend when they were both attending Purdue, and Jett asked for Kaylee’s number.
“We went to dinner on Valentine’s Day, and the rest is history!” Kaylee told me during her Google Hangouts call. (I love meeting bride’s for coffee, but due to COVID, I’ve been doing consults online this year.)
The following school year, Jett and Kaylee decided to move in together, and in October 2019, while they were sitting on the porch of their apartment (something they did regularly), Jett asked Kaylee to be his wife.
Shortly after getting engaged, Jett and Kaylee found out that they were expecting a baby, and sweet Emelia (who has the best blue eyes) joined their family in 2020.
In the midst of all of this, Jett graduated from Purdue; Kaylee transferred to IUPUI; Jett started working full time for the family business; they moved to Indianapolis; they endured a global pandemic; and now, they’re planning their wedding!
Like I said, it’s been a crazy couple years for Jett and Kaylee, but they’re tackling life as a team, and as Jett said during their engagement session, “Everything after this is going to feel really easy!”
In the midst of the busyness, however, Jett and Kaylee’s relationship is thriving because they already understand the importance of scheduling quality time together. For example, while their weeks are full of work and school, every Sunday morning, they make breakfast together and hang out as a family of three.

Jett & Kaylee are planning a classy, bohemian, outdoor 2021 wedding on the Yeary family’s property.
When you have access to a property as gorgeous as Jeff and Peggy Yeary’s, you almost have to have your wedding there. And, that’s exactly what Jett and Kaylee have decided to do!
With the help of Magical Moments Event Planning (one of my absolute favorite wedding planning teams), Jett and Kaylee will celebrate their marriage on the Yeary family’s property with a classy, boho wedding with shades of green, greenery, and other natural elements.
I was excited about their big day before, but after getting to see the property firsthand and spending an hour and a half witnessing how Jett and Kaylee light one another up and make each other laugh, I cannot wait for their wedding!
