The Lettingas: Spring Maternity Photos at Fairfield Lakes Park in Lafayette, Indiana

Sam said they coordinated their outfits with Oliver’s big, blue eyes. And, when you see photos of Mark and Sam’s blue-eyed, curly-haired boy, you’ll understand why. He’s such a handsome little guy! 

Very soon, Mark, Sam, and Oliver will welcome a baby girl into their family, and to celebrate, they decided to have maternity photos taken. 

I had such a great time hanging out with this family of three (or should I say family of four?), and I’m so excited to share the Lettinga’s spring maternity photos at Fairfield Lakes Park in Lafayette, Indiana on the blog!

 

It’s been a crazy few years for the Lettingas. 

Since getting married four years ago, Mark and Sam have moved multiple times, lived in multiple states, welcomed a little boy into the world, and endured a pandemic. Now, they call West Lafayette, Indiana home and are expecting their second child—a baby girl whose name they aren’t sharing until she’s born! 

Mark and Sam have faced many changes in the last few years, but after just spending an hour with them, it’s clear that they tackle life, especially parenting, as a team. 

For example, their shoot was scheduled very close to Oliver’s bed time. Sam had snacks ready to go, and Oliver never had a chance to get fussy, because Dad kept every moment fun with some tosses and simply by being goofy behind the camera. This was such a fun session for me, because I loved watching Mark and Sam work together to care for their babe and make him smile! 

 

The Lettingas chose to take their spring maternity photos at Fairfield Lakes Park in Lafayette, Indiana. 

Mark, Sam, and Oliver love to be outside and take walks as a family. As a result, Sam really wanted to take the maternity photos in an area with lots of nature.

In Indiana, you never really know what you’re going to get in April. In fact, it even snowed a week after the Lettingas’ session! But, fortunately, Fairfield Lakes Park had just enough leaves that you’d never know that most of Indiana was still brown during the Lettingas’ maternity photos. 

Sam, thank you for being willing to go with the flow and try this location!

Mark and Sam, you’re clearly already amazing parents. I mean, Ollie is just so much fun, and I loved watching the two of you root for him and know exactly how to make him smile. I have no doubt you’ll root for your daughter just as hard.
