“Great.” “Crazy.” “Good.” “Hard.” “Fun.”
These are the words that Brandon and Brittany used to describe their first year of marriage when I asked them how year one had been during their anniversary session.

A Few Thoughts on Year One According to the Andersons
In 2020, I’m challenging VRP brides and grooms to get real about marriage and share their thoughts on a few different marriage-related topics in hopes of showing other newlyweds that marriage takes work and intentionality to truly thrive.
And, Brandon and Brittany were willing to share their thoughts!
What have been the highlights of year one of marriage?
We would say going to Disney World for our honeymoon and kayaking a lot!
What’s the best part about being married?
Brandon: The commitment
Brittany: Having a soulmate through thick and thin, laughing together, and being silly.
What’s something that’s been more difficult about being married than you expected?
Being on the same page at times.
What’s one piece of advice that you’d give to newlyweds?
Brandon: Listen to your significant other, what they have to say.
Brittany: It takes patience and growing with each other. No one is perfect!

Brandon and Brittany, it’s hard to believe that it’s been more than a year since your wedding at Exploration Acres!
