Hey there!
I'm Victoria Rayburn.
And, I’m so glad you’re here! I’m a wedding photographer in Indianapolis, marketing educator, believer, wife to my best friend, goldendoodle mama, black coffee drinker, and small business supporter with a serious attention to detail.

I understand how much your wedding photos mean to you & how much work you’re going to put into every detail.
Since I was a kid, I’ve been told that I’m “type A,” “detail oriented,” “always on top of things,” and a “perfectionist.” Can you relate?!
I know firsthand that when you’re a detail-oriented person and it’s time to plan your wedding, it can be difficult to relax, let things go, and trust that everything will go according to plan.
And, considering your wedding photos will be one of the few things that remain from your wedding after months of planning and years of dreaming, it can feel like a lot of pressure to find a wedding photographer you can trust to capture your big day well.
You deserve to be able to relax & soak up your big day without having to worry about your wedding photos.
As a detail-oriented person myself, I understand how much your wedding photos mean to you and how much work you’re going to put into every last detail of your big day.
As a result, when you choose to become a VRP bride, you can relax and enjoy your wedding day knowing you’ve chosen an photographer who is just as detail-oriented as you are (if not more so), will put thought into every shot, and will pay attention to all of the little details to ensure that you and your husband-to-be love your wedding photos.
These are a few of my
favorite things
(& people & dogs)!

If you watch The Office, our story is about identical to Jim and Pam’s. Zach and I met our junior year of high school and quickly became best friends.
While Zach’ll tell you that he knew right away that we’d someday be married, I had the same boyfriend all through high school. When said boyfriend and I broke up at the end of my senior year, Zach and I just hanging out somehow turned into dating. And, I’m so thankful it did!
We got engaged about a year and a half later (We were only 20!) and got married at age 21 (during my spring break because we didn’t want to wait any longer)!
While Zach’s my best friend, we also couldn’t be any more different. He’s musically talented; I’m tone deaf. He’s a great cook; I really hate cooking and would be fine to eat cereal. I majored in English because I love to read and am a grammar enthusiast; he rarely uses capitalization.
Zach makes life fun, joyful, and spontaneous. God gave me a husband who is everything I’m not but everything God knew I needed!

We don’t have kids yet, but we do have Hattie! Our 35-pound mini goldendoodle somehow hogs most of our bed and fills even more of our hearts! She's by best girl and goes just about everywhere with me.
Hattie is the closest thing to a business partner I have. I mean, neither a photo is edited nor a blog post is written without my puppy girl by my feet!
These are a few of Hattie’s favorite things:
- Simon & Halle’s Pet Boutique (for grooming and everything else dog-related we need)
- Fluff & Tuff Dog Toys (She has Tina the alpaca, Elsie the elephant, Lola the flamingo, and a few others!)
- Popcorn

Zach and I try really hard to support small businesses before big businesses. In fact, seven out of our nine grandparents, Zach’s dad, and I are entrepreneurs. As a result, we know firsthand that when you support a small business, you’re supporting a local family!
Don’t get me wrong; I love Target, Starbucks, and Amazon, but as a small business owner, I do my best to support other small businesses.
Check out my favorite small businesses in Lafayette, Indiana!

You know how Rory from Gilmore Girls always keeps a couple books on her? I do the same!
While I do love marketing and professional development books, I subscribe to Book of the Month to help me regularly read just for fun!
A few favorites I recommend:
- Building a StoryBrand by Donald Miller
- Superfans: The Easy Way to Stand Out, Grow Your Tribe, and Build a Successful Business by Pat Flynn
- Present Over Perfect by Shauna Niequist
- EntreLeadership by Dave Ramsey
- Girl, Wash Your Face by Rachel Hollis
- Crushing It by Gary Vaynerchuk
- Jab, Jab, Jab, Right Hook by Gary Vaynerchuk
While I’ll likely order a latte at a coffee shop, I drink my coffee black at home (sometimes with a sprinkle of cinnamon). A lot of coffee has been required at very points in life (like when I was working full time and spending nights and weekends growing my photography business), and at some point, I decided the extra calories and sugar from creamer needed to go!
While coffee is for the morning, red wine is for the evening. And, if you ask me, the drier the better! Zach and I might be opposites in most ways, but we both love wine and spending date night at The Cellar Wine Bistro in downtown Lafayette.
I was late to the La Croix game, but I've fallen in love. Sparkling Pamplemousse, please!
Zach says that when he gets to Heaven, the first thing he’s going to ask God is how many times we’ve watched The Office all the way through. We have no idea how many times it’s been, but we know the number is HIGH!
Zach and I actually became friends because of our love for the show. I should’ve realized he was the one when I was 17 and said, “This day is bananas. B-A-N-A-N-A-S,” and he was the only one to get the reference.
Side Note: We gave up TV for 2020, and while it's going really well, we definitely miss The Office
I believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins, that we are saved by his sacrifice, and that we are to love others the way he did. I’m always happy to talk about what this means. If you have questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me!
