Zach and I feel so blessed to have Nate and Felicia Dale in our lives, and we loved having the opportunity to spend a day in Michigan with them where we ate great food, drank good wine, and swapped photoshoots.
With a busy fall photo season, I’m a bit behind in sharing these images, but I’m thrilled to share Nate and Felicia’s couple photos at Tabor Hill Winery and Silver Beach on the blog!
Nate & Felicia also work in the wedding industry.
Now, when I think “power couple,” I most definitely think of Nate and Felicia Dale. You see, Nate and Felicia are both entrepreneurs within the wedding industry and do a phenomenal job of supporting one another’s businesses and dreams.
Nate is a destination elopement and wedding photographer, owns New Adventure Productions, and is the host and creator of The New Adventure Workshop—which I have the pleasure of being one of the educators for in Hawaii in January 2022. Photographers, you can learn more about this workshop here!
And, Felicia is a wedding planner in Lafayette, Indiana. She owns Emerald Lotus Events, and she is also the creator of The Simple Wedding Planning Course. Coincidentally, Nate and Felicia moved to Lafayette around the same time Zach and I did, and I met them through f/765—our local photography community.
It’s crazy to think about, but I met the Dales way back in 2016! At the time, Nate and I were doing photography on the side while working 9-5 jobs and dreaming of being self employed.
Between Nate, Felicia, and I, there have been a lot of business changes since we met five years ago, and I’ve been so thankful to know the Dales every step of the way. I mean, from Nate and I understanding one another’s enneagram three personalities to being able to talk about anything and everything with Felicia (preferably over brunch or wine), I truly don’t know if Victoria Rayburn Photography would be where it is today without their love, support, encouragement, and friendship.

Wanting to swap photos in a fun location and spend a day together, Zach, Nate, Felicia, and I spent a Sunday in Michigan.
We started the afternoon with burgers from Redamak’s in New Buffalo, did a tasting at Gravity Vineyards and Winery, shared a couple bottles and swapped photos at Tabor Hill Winery, visited Silver Beach for a few more photos, and then finished the night at Silver Beach Pizza.
Between the food, the wine, the company, getting to shoot in new locations (Both of these photo locations were Nate’s ideas by the way!), and the photos we received from New Adventure Productions, it was a fantastic day. And, I’m thrilled to share Nate and Felicia’s couple photos at Tabor Hill Winery and Silver Beach on the blog!
