I understand how much your wedding photos mean to you and how much work you’re putting into planning every last detail of your big day. As a VRP bride, you can relax and enjoy your wedding day knowing you’ve chosen a team of photographers who are just as detail-oriented as you are, will put thought into every shot, and will pay attention to all of the little details to ensure that you and your spouse love your wedding photos.
Over the last few years, Robert and Lindsey have had a lot of big life changes. I mean, they had a baby boy; Robert started working as a police officer; they had another little boy; they bought and remodeled a house; and this past weekend, they had a beautiful fall wedding at Vintage Oaks Banquet Barn in Delphi, Indiana!
Now, I’ve been blessed to work with amazing, kind couples, but few compare to this sweet bride and groom. Robert and Lindsey always put their boys and others first, so it was so nice to see them have a day that was all about them!
I love seeing high school sweethearts tie the knot. I mean, Robert and Lindsey fell in love as kids. They’ve grown together, changed together, and figured out who they are as individuals while still holding tight to one another. That’s incredible!
Robert and Lindsey met during a criminal justice class in high school. Their how-they-met story couldn’t be anymore perfect, because today, Robert is a police officer, and Lindsey is the most supportive police wife (as well as a stay-at-home mama for their boys).
Unfortunately, it’s easy to forget how much police officers and their families do for our communities. We may live in little Indiana, but every day, Robert and his fellow officers are risking their lives. We need to remember to thank both the officers and their families for their sacrifices. Robert, Lindsey, and boys, thank you for all you do!
Robert and Lindsey are one of the most selfless brides and grooms I’ve ever worked with. While it was their big day, they spent 100% of their time making sure that everyone else was taken care of and comfortable. I mean, they both asked Candace (my second shooter) and me if we’d eaten at least twice. They’re the sweetest!
Robert and Lindsey do so much for others, especially their little boys, and it was incredible to see others serve them in return on their big day. I mean, their parents and stepparents did an incredible job of making sure that Robert and Lindsey’s boys (who practically didn’t make a peep during the whole wedding) were cared for so Robert and Lindsey could enjoy their friends and guests.
Robert and Lindsey, I hope your big day was everything you hoped it would be, because as hard as you guys work and as selfless as you are, you deserved a perfect wedding day!
It’s no secret that fall is a popular wedding season in Indiana. After all, the weather tends to cool off, and Indiana has some pretty spectacular fall colors. But, when most brides and grooms plan fall weddings, they assume that their big day should be in early October or late September. This is technically fall after all.
However, the leaves in Indiana don’t typically start really changing until the last week of October. So, if you want a colorful fall wedding, you should plan for either the last weekend of October or the first weekend of November. This is exactly what Robert and Lindsey did, and it was incredible!
From the fall leaves on the trees to Robert and Lindsey’s perfect fall decor, this wedding was as fall as it gets! Lindsey, I know you, your mama, and others put SO much thought and time into decor. Way to go, girl! It was perfect.
Robert and Lindsey, from your gorgeous, vintage wedding dress (Lindsey) to your lovely fall theme and from your vows that made the entire room cry to how well you treated your loved ones and vendors or your big day, your wedding was one for the books. I hope you loved every second, but more importantly, I hope you’re loving being married.
I know the last few years have been crazy for you guys with so many life changes. Now that the wedding is behind you, I hope you and the boys can find a little rest and enjoy being a family.
