Pumpkins, sweaters, and an adorable couple?! It doesn’t get any sweeter than this, and I’m so excited to share Tyler Van Wanzeele and Baileigh Fleming’s fall engagement photos at Wea Creek Orchard on the blog!

 

Tyler & Baileigh have known each other for as long as they can remember.

This darling couple grew up in Otterbein, Indiana—a small town where everyone knows everybody. So, they’ve known each other their entire lives!

In fact, these two even “dated” in middle school. However, when Tyler wouldn’t hold Baileigh’s hand, she broke up with him. By their junior year of high school, Tyler was much more interested in hand holding, and Tyler and and Baileigh became high school sweethearts.

While they went to different colleges (Tyler to IUPUI until going back to his family’s farm and Baileigh to Saint Joseph’s College), they stayed together and saw each other as much as possible.

Now that they’re done with school, these high school sweethearts are once again making Otterbein their home, allowing them to be close to both of their families and for Tyler to be part of the family farm, which is very special to him.

 

They’ll get married on Tyler’s family’s farm on June 1, 2019.

In fact, Tyler’s family farm is so special to Tyler and Baileigh that they’re getting married on the Van Wanzeele property! Between harvest 2018 and planting 2019, Tyler, Baileigh, and Tyler’s family will be hard at work building a new barn on their property and turning it into the perfect wedding venue (before it’s full of tractors and tools). How incredible is that?!

Generations of Tyler’s family have lived and grown up on this land. Tyler and Baileigh’s marriage will be part of this legacy, making the family farm the perfect place to say, “I do.” Stay tuned for photos from the Fleming-Van Wanzeele wedding, because I have no doubt this venue will be both sentimental and beautiful!

 

Wea Creek Orchard was the perfect setting for engagement photos for this farm-loving couple.

Wanting to keep things country and rural but have something a little different, I had the pleasure of taking Tyler and Baileigh’s engagement photos at Wea Creek Orchard in Lafayette, Indiana.

Now, you wouldn’t guess this from the photos because Tyler and Baileigh killed it in front of the camera, but it was a tad cold and muddy. (Okay. A lot!)

But, in typical Tyler and Baileigh style, these two made the best of the situation, laughed through every second, and were a joy to work with. I pray that Tyler and Baileigh have beautiful weather this June, but no matter the circumstances, I know their wedding will be joy-filled and fun, because that’s who they are!
