One of my favorite things about living in Lafayette, Indiana is that it’s full of incredible small businesses, including some truly amazing wedding vendors!
As a wedding photographer, I was thrilled for the opportunity to partner with some of my favorite local vendors on a styled shoot.
I still can’t get over how talented all of these vendors are, and I’m so excited to share photos of this light and moody industrial wedding in downtown Lafayette, Indiana on the blog!
The Vision for the Shoot
This styled shoot took place at The Rat Pak Venue in downtown Lafayette. (Side note: This is one of my favorite local wedding venues. The service is great, and I love how versatile the space is!)
Wanting to highlight Rat Pak’s brick walls and modern but classic feel and utilize a fall color palette, Taia Alvarado of White Willow Events brought a light-and-moody wedding with industrial elements to life! (Another side note: Taia is the whole package as a wedding coordinator! Somehow, she’s every bit as creative as she is organized. I can’t recommend her enough!)
By using light grey and other neutral-colored linens and then adding metallic elements, greenery, fall-inspired florals created my the amazing Rubia Flower Market, and an iron arbor, the final product was soft and edgy at the same time. And, if you ask me, it was truly amazing!

Isn’t this cake incredible?! Something Blue Bakery makes wedding cakes that are too pretty to eat, but they taste so good you somehow figure out how to get past that!
I love that you can have both your ceremony and reception at The Rat Pak Venue!
