I understand how much your wedding photos mean to you and how much work you’re putting into planning every last detail of your big day. As a VRP bride, you can relax and enjoy your wedding day knowing you’ve chosen a team of photographers who are just as detail-oriented as you are, will put thought into every shot, and will pay attention to all of the little details to ensure that you and your spouse love your wedding photos.
A couple who supports and adores one another, glowy light, AND their pup? This is my definition of a great Thursday night, and I’m so excited to share Dan and Tina’s seven-year anniversary photos with their dog at The Celery Bog in West Lafayette, Indiana on the blog!
While I don’t share every couples’ “how-they-met” story when I blog anniversary sessions, I can’t help sharing Dan and Tina’s, because it’s pretty epic.
You see, Dan travels around the world regularly for work, and in 2013, he’d been assigned to handle his company’s business in Southeast Asia and moved to Australia. In his new country and continent, Dan decided to try online dating—which is how he and Tina met.
Between their love for travel and zest for life, Dan and Tina hit it off quickly, and Dan traveled to the Philippines to meet Tina and her family. And, it didn’t take long for Dan and Tina to realize that they’d found their person.
A few months later, Tina visited Dan in Australia, and he proposed! They got married in the Philippines within a year of meeting.
According to Tina, “We were both longing for love, and we found each other. The rest is history . . . Seven years of being married and our love for each other just keeps growing.”
Today, whether it’s for work or for pleasure, Dan and Tina are always going somewhere exciting. In fact, Tina jokes that Dan’s suitcase lives in the spare bedroom when they’re home because there isn’t enough time to put it away before the next trip!
Like most of us, Dan and Tina spent much of 2020 at home. But, now that they’re fully vaccinated, these world travelers are back to their more normal schedule, ready to see their grandkids, and are clearly very excited about all that’s to come in 2021!
I had the pleasure of meeting this darling couple in 2019 when they booked a photo shoot for their five-year wedding anniversary. With the world shut down in 2020, they decided to take a year off of photo shoots, but according to Tina—who loves and appreciates photos—they’ll be booking a shoot every year to celebrate another year of marriage!
And, Khaleesi will, of course, be included too! Khaleesi, Dan and Tina’s four-year-old Yorkie, is the baby of the fam and absolutely must be included in photos. (This makes my heart so happy. Dogs are so special and should be included in all family and anniversary photos if you ask me!)
Mr. and Mrs. Bishopp, I can’t begin to tell you how much I adore the two of you (and your sweet pup). I had so much fun hanging out with you guys and love hearing all about your travel and just how you support one another and build each other up.
Happy seven-year anniversary! I hope you love these previews of your anniversary photos with your pup at The Celery Bog in West Lafayette, Indiana!
