It’s TIIIIIIMMMEEE! 🎄🎁🎉 (I know you just heard that audio in your head! 😅)

But, it’s time to show small businesses some love!

I mean, did you know that—according to @quickbooks—small businesses depend on the holiday season to generate up to 65% of their income? Guys, this means that over the next few weeks, hardworking small businesses will be grinding to generate more than half of their and their teams’ annual revenue and salaries.

Whether you are a small business owner or you know a small business owner, you know how hard these individuals and their teams work day in and day out.

So, as holiday shopping truly begins this weekend, I want to encourage you to do at least one of three things:

1️⃣ Shop small as much as you can. Whether you want to gift someone (or yourself) with an experience, a particular item, fun stocking stuffers, or whatever else, I can almost guarantee there is a small business who offers that item. (Purchasing gift cards from small businesses is also a great way to support them during the holidays!)

2️⃣ ENGAGE with your favorite small businesses’ social media content. Like, share, and comment on their posts. Respond to their stories. The more interaction their content receives, the more likely others will find these amazing businesses.

3️⃣ Leave them Google reviews. If you’re thankful for a small biz, arguably the best way to thank is to leave them a positive Google review. Google reviews increase the likelihood that a small business will appear at the top of Google search results, which can only increase business.

May your Thanksgiving weekend be full of great food, time with loved ones, and showing your favorite small businesses the love they deserve!

It’s hard to believe, but today, I’m deliverin

It’s hard to believe, but today, I’m delivering my very last wedding gallery.

Nine years ago, having a photography business was just a dream, but thanks to VRP brides, grooms, families, and other clients, I’ve had the honor and privilege of living out my dream for eight wonderful years.

Closing Victoria Rayburn Photography is the definition of bittersweet. While I will most definitely miss photographing weddings and getting to meet and hang out with the best couples (I couldn’t love my type-A brides more!), I know that this decision is right for my family. And, I am so excited for the opportunity to coach, educate, and help small businesses grow alongside @treefrogmarketing.

To everyone who has ever been in front of my camera or referred my small business, thank you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for trusting me to be your photographer, for your support, and for making my dream possible. I’ll never be able to explain the honor of getting to celebrate with and capture special moments for you.

Hattie is great with kids, and I truly don’t think we have anything to worry about, but she’s been an only child for almost eight years. Her world is about to be rocked, and I want to do everything I can to make the transition easy and to help her love her sister.

To make sure your photos are safe and protected, here are a few things I want to make sure you know:

With the business closing, I will be shutting down all galleries. If you’ve yet to download your photos, please do so by December 31, 2023 as online galleries will no longer be available.

If you need a link to your gallery or your PIN, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
