Ready to see photos of a stunning expecting momma; the most adorable, blonde-haired little boy; and a very loving husband and dad? Because, I’m so excited to share these maternity photos with you!
When these were taken, Ashley, Braden, and Callan were anxiously awaiting for both baby number two and Christmas to arrive. They thought they would have a baby by Jesus’s birthday, but Deacon Clark made his appearance a few days after the holiday. He just turned a month old, but I can’t help blogging this session!
We took the Clark family’s maternity photos at Purdue University.
Ashley and Braden Clark met at Purdue when Ashley was a student. Because the campus is sentimental to them, they had their engagement photos taken on campus. With this in mind, Ashley and I decided taking their maternity photos in West Lafayette, Indiana was the perfect way to celebrate baby number two!
We were also fortunate that this session got to take place on a 70-degree day in December. Talk about about blessing!
Callan is a hoot and a half!
This is the second time I’ve had the privilege of photographing the Clarks, and I have to say, Callan is HILARIOUS! He’s sweet, an excellent listener, and always eager to help (He may or may not have taken several photos of his dad while his mom changed outfits!).
Callan will be an incredible big brother because his parents have raised him to be kindhearted. Braden and Ashley, you should be so proud!
Ashley is always beautiful, but her dress, hair, and makeup put her beauty over the top.
Ashley’s my dream client because she’s very communicative. We talked in depth about her maternity dress options for this session. She decided on a gorgeous, plum dress from Sew Trendy Fashion & Accessories, which fit her PERFECTLY!
An avid runner and naturally beautiful, Ashley always looks great on camera. But, investing in this dress and professional hair and makeup (She had her hair and makeup done by Paige Miller of Shear Madness by Paige) made her really glow on camera.
Side note: I always recommend having your hair and makeup professionally done for photos. You won’t be sorry!
Callan & Deacon are certainly blessed.
Callan and Deacon are incredibly blessed to have the parents that they do. Braden is both a fireman and small business owner (Check out Clark’s Cutting Edge!) who works very hard. His boys will grow up seeing what hard work looks like every day.
Ashley, on the other hand, is the most organized and prepared person I know. She was my cheerleading coach in high school and played a huge influence in my life. When her boys are old enough to date, Callan and Deacon will have very high expectations for girls because their momma is so great!
