The Jones Family: Fall Family Photos at Fairfield Lakes Park in Lafayette, Indiana

It’s been a busy few years for the Jones family.

During family photos, I always like asking parents their story. And, well, let’s just say that the last few years have been very busy for Molly and Casey!

You see, in just the last three years, they’ve gotten married, moved, had Josie, and endured a global pandemic all while Casey is pursuing his PhD at Purdue. They’re truly champs!

And, Miss Josie is clearly the light of their lives. How could she not be?! I mean, one of the sweetest things I’ve ever seen is Josie’s face light up when a dog passed us at Fairfield Lakes Park!

Scooter, the Jones’ dog, didn’t come for their photo session, but he and Josie have an unbreakable bond so much so that “dog” was one of her very first words! She’s my kind of girl!

Molly & Casey were willing to go with the flow.

Like so many things in 2020, the weather turned a little strange during the Jones family’s photo session. While it had been nice during the day, the temperature dropped drastically and rain came out of nowhere during their session.

It was too cold for Miss Josie to be a happy camper after the first 30 minutes. With the sudden change of weather, I offered to let the Jones family reschedule part two of their session for another evening. And, I’m so glad they took me up on this offer! Indiana warmed back up, and Josie was all smiles for part two of their session!

Molly and Casey, thank you for being so go with the flow and for trusting me to take your family photos. I loved getting to know the two of you and your sweet girl. I hope you love these previews from your fall family photos at Fairfield Lakes Park!
