Guys, I’m so excited to share this editorial wedding at the Rat Pak Venue created by some of my favorite Lafayette, Indiana wedding vendors on the blog!
I LOVE connecting with other wedding vendors.
Now, before you check out the photos, I can’t help sharing that one of my favorite things about being a wedding photographer is having opportunities to meet and work with other wedding vendors.
I love getting to know other wedding professionals because:
- They can speak wisdom into my business, which helps me better serve brides and grooms.
- They inspire me. The wedding industry is full of some truly creative individuals, and it’s so much fun to see how other vendors use their talents to make wedding days magical and memorable for their couples.
Last summer, I had the pleasure of photographing a styled shoot at the Rat Pak Venue that featured some of my favorite local wedding vendors. (You can check out this shoot here!) And, in January 2020, I had the pleasure of working with this amazing team of wedding vendors again for the Bridal Open House!
The Bridal Open House is basically the after party to the Midwest Bridal Affair!
Every year, Rat Pak hosts the Bridal Open House after the Midwest Bridal Affair—a bridal show in West Lafayette.
Rat Pak’s Bridal Open House gives brides and grooms a chance to tour the amazing Rat Pak Venue, meet wedding vendors in a more intimate environment, and see vendors’ work in person.
White Willow Events & Rubia Flower Market created a beautiful wedding design for the 2020 Bridal Open House.
For the 2020 Bridal Open House, White Willow Events and Rubia Flower Market worked together to create a beautiful dusty blue and jewel tone wedding with pops of color.
Now, one of the reasons I love the Rat Pak Venue is that it’s very neutral with its gray walls and white ceiling. But, this Lafayette, Indiana wedding venue also has gorgeous brick details. And, the blues that White Willow Events chose really made Rat Pak’s brick architecture pop. This is a testament to how incredible Taia (the owner of White Willow) is!
I was very thankful that the amazing vendor team who created this design asked me to photograph their work and help host the 2020 Bridal Open House. I mean, I got to meet super sweet brides and grooms AND photograph some amazing details. As a wedding photographer, it doesn’t get any better than that!
