I understand how much your wedding photos mean to you and how much work you’re putting into planning every last detail of your big day. As a VRP bride, you can relax and enjoy your wedding day knowing you’ve chosen a team of photographers who are just as detail-oriented as you are, will put thought into every shot, and will pay attention to all of the little details to ensure that you and your spouse love your wedding photos.
Considering how wonderful Michael Bramer and Cassie Arboleda are and how beautifully their wedding day came together (which was flawlessly planned by Magical Moments Event Planning), it’s going to be hard to keep this blog post short and sweet. I mean, I’m pretty sure I could spend hours gushing about Micahel and Cassie and their garden-themed Union Station Illinois Street Ballroom wedding in downtown Indianapolis.
I’ll try to let the photos do most of the talking, but I am so excited and honored to share previews from Mr. and Mrs. Bramer’s wedding day on the blog!
First of all, I want to commend Lora Pennington and her team at Magical Moments Event Planning for flawlessly designing and implementing Michael and Cassie’s vision and timeline from beginning to end. There were a lot of moving parts, but all came together flawlessly.
After spending the evening at the Crown Plaza Hotel, Micahel and Cassie’s wedding day began with the bride, groom, their immediate families, and their bridal party getting ready in Union Station. (Side note: Shout out to Black Swan Beauty for always executing beautiful, timely hair and makeup!)
Wanting to keep their wedding day traditional and with an early ceremony time of 1:00 pm, Michael and Cassie didn’t share a first look. So, after details had been photographed, getting ready photos had been taken, and Cassie shared first looks with both her dad and bridesmaids, Cassie, Michael, and their loved ones traveled to Saint John the Evangelist Catholic Church for their ceremony.
As a wedding photographer, I’ve witnessed hundreds of wedding ceremonies, but in all honesty, I’ve witnessed very few that are as personal and meaningful as Cassie and Michael’s. You see, Cassie and Micahel’s faith is very important to them. They even met as a result of University of Louisville’s Catholic campus ministry. As a result, they put a lot of thought and intentionality into every reading and every aspect of their ceremony.
After their ceremony and taking family photos at Saint John, Michael, Cassie, their bridal party, and their photo and video team traveled just a block to take both bridal party and bride and groom photos. While we’re talking about them, I want to give a huge shout out to Micael and Cassie’s bridal party. You see, we had a tight timeline for photos. However, their cooperation made it possible for us to get a lot in a short amount of time.
After portraits were complete, we headed back to Union Station for Michael and Cassie’s absolutely stunning reception. Now, you might be familiar with Union Station’s Grand Hall. However, Union Station is also home to the Illinois Street Ballroom, which is just as lovely.
Between Magical Moments’ vision and Special Occasion Designs’ floral work, Michael and Cassie’s garden-themed wedding couldn’t have come together anymore perfectly. Guests enjoyed cocktail hour by the train, and then all celebrated in the floral-filled ballroom. I could gush and gush about how beautifully everything came together, but I’ll just let you scroll to see what I mean.
In addition to being filled with florals, Micahel and Cassie’s wedding reception was also full of perfect speeches, sweet first dances, delicious food (which was actually Micahel and Cassie’s biggest wedding priority), and guests who were ready to dance!
Before photo coverage ended, we snuck Michael and Cassie out on the balcony for sunset photos. Then, we hugged this oh-so-sweet VRP bride and groom and their families goodnight, and they continued to enjoy their epic celebration!
Like I said, Michael and Cassie’s wedding day came together flawlessly, and I could gush and gush about it. However, I could spend even longer gushing about Micahel and Cassie.
You see, I don’t know if I’ve ever witnessed a bride and groom be more thankful to get married or more grateful and kind to their friends, family, and wedding vendors on their big day.
Michael and Cassie have hearts of gold, and after having the pleasure of meeting their families, it’s clear that they were raised to be thoughtful, intentional people.
Micahel, Cassie, Arboledas, and Bramers, thank you for being so wonderful to work with and just the absolute best kinds of people.
Michael and Cassie, I cannot begin to express how honored I was that you trusted me to be your wedding photographer. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for allowing Megan and me to celebrate with you and to capture your first day as husband and wife.
I hope you enjoy these previews from your Union Station Illinois Street Ballroom wedding in downtown Indianapolis. But, I hope you enjoy being husband and wife even more. Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Bramer!
