I understand how much your wedding photos mean to you and how much work you’re putting into planning every last detail of your big day. As a VRP bride, you can relax and enjoy your wedding day knowing you’ve chosen a team of photographers who are just as detail-oriented as you are, will put thought into every shot, and will pay attention to all of the little details to ensure that you and your spouse love your wedding photos.
It’s hard to believe it’s been a year since Wyatt and Kaelyn’s gorgeous, flower-filled wedding. But, between adjusting to married life, moving and going to school in Illinois, building a home, the coronavirus, and cancelled and rescheduled pig shows, Wyatt and Kaelyn’s first year of marriage has been a busy/crazy one!
It was so great to catch up with these two during their anniversary session, and I’m so excited to share their anniversary photos at the Celery Bog in West Lafayette, Indiana on the blog!
“Highlights of year one has definitely been just learning to live together. Our situation has made us stronger than ever. We lived in Illinois going to college together having all the same classes, and we’ve absolutely loved every minute of it, and it has allowed us to grow together as a couple. Growing together is a lot of fun, and I’m thankful we started our journey together at very young ages!”
“The best part about being married is just getting to spend all your time together, caring for each other, and just knowing you’re needed by the other.”
“For Wyatt and I, we have had a lot of things going on in year one like going to college and building a house, so definitely we feel the hardest things have been making sure we communicate well with each other and meeting each other’s needs. That is something I think we all try to do and don’t want to admit it’s a lot of work.”
“I would tell newlyweds to always find one thing that you do together every night. It’s worth it! Always be willing to give and take because that will keep from little arguments.”
I can’t believe it’s been a year since your beautiful wedding day at Vintage Oaks Banquet Barn! From the bottom of my heart, thank you for trusting me to be your wedding photographer!
It’s been so much fun to get to know the two of you and your families.
Happy anniversary! May you celebrate at least 50 more!
So, when we pulled into the parking lot for Wyatt and Kaelyn’s session, it began to rain out of nowhere. Over the phone, Kaelyn and I decided it would be best to reschedule. I felt so bad, but we all left the parking lot.
Then, there was magically a gap in the rain, so we turned around and went back, and I’m so glad we did!
In case you’re wondering where Kaelyn purchased this amazing dress, it’s from Red Dress! Kaelyn is always so put together and gorgeous!
