I understand how much your wedding photos mean to you and how much work you’re putting into planning every last detail of your big day. As a VRP bride, you can relax and enjoy your wedding day knowing you’ve chosen a team of photographers who are just as detail-oriented as you are, will put thought into every shot, and will pay attention to all of the little details to ensure that you and your spouse love your wedding photos.
On Saturday, October 24, 2020, Whitney promised Corey to love Corey’s son as her own; Corey promised Whitney to always snuggle her until she’s content no matter how sweaty or uncomfortable he gets; and Corey and Whitney became husband and wife in front of their 30 closest friends and family members.
And, now, I’m thrilled to share Mr. and Mrs. Thompson’s Cornerstone Christian Church wedding in Brownsburg, Indiana on the blog!
COVID-19 has certainly affected 2020 weddings. But, even before the coronavirus made “micro” weddings cool, Corey and Whitney knew they wanted an intimate celebration.
With this in mind, Corey and Whitney decided to celebrate their wedding at Cornerstone Christian Church in Brownsburg, Indiana with their ceremony in the sanctuary and their reception in the church’s fellowship hall.
Wanting to be able to spend quality time with each and every one of their guests, Corey and Whitney decided to limit their guest list. While they were missing a few loved ones due to COVID, Corey and Whitney celebrated their big day with just over 30 loved ones. This allowed them to spend more than just a few seconds visiting with guests and to make genuine memories with those present.
Corey and Whitney also decided to forgo a big bridal party and just included Corey’s son, Rhett (who gave a super sweet speech during the reception), as best man and Whitney’s niece, Josie, as their flower girl.
Corey and Whitney, your wedding day was lovely, and I so admire the way you guys decided to keep your wedding focused on what matters most: one another, family, friends, and Christ. I hope and pray you always approach life just like you approached your wedding day!
Corey and Whitney, your wedding day was lovely, intimate, sweet, and fun, and I have no doubt that the life you share will be the same way.
Thank you so much for trusting me to be your wedding photographer. It was an honor, and I loved wrapping up wedding season with such a kind, wonderful couple.
Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Thompson! I hope you love these previews from your Cornerstone Christian Church wedding in Brownsburg, Indiana!
I still can’t believe Miss Josie isn’t even three yet. She was an amazing little flower girl!
As best man, Rhett gave a speech. It was darling and so sincere!
