I understand how much your wedding photos mean to you and how much work you’re putting into planning every last detail of your big day. As a VRP bride, you can relax and enjoy your wedding day knowing you’ve chosen a team of photographers who are just as detail-oriented as you are, will put thought into every shot, and will pay attention to all of the little details to ensure that you and your spouse love your wedding photos.
Unfortunately, just a few weeks before Eric and Kellie’s originally planned wedding in April 2020, the world shut down, and they were forced to postpone their Indianapolis Artsgarden wedding.
Not wanting to wait any longer than they had to to get married, Eric and Kellie had an intimate, gorgeous, backyard wedding as soon as small gatherings were allowed to resume in June 2020. (I wasn’t their original wedding photographer for this celebration, but I’ve seen photos, and it was a beautiful day!)
Eric and Kellie never thought they’d have to wait so long, but two years later, they were FINALLY able to celebrate their marriage with an Indianapolis Artsgarden wedding reception, and I’m thrilled to share photos from Eric Fink and Kellie Miles’ long-awaited celebration in downtown Indianapolis on the blog!
“It’s crazy to think I picked all of this decor way back in 2019!” Kellie said when she walked into the Indianapolis Artsgarden.
While I’m sure the wait for their originally planned celebration wasn’t easy, Eric and Kellie made the best of the situation and have spent the last two years building a business (Kellie is the owner and director of Bach to Rock Fishers, an acclaimed music school.), purchasing a home, and just enjoying life together as husband and wife. While they were excited to have their Indianapolis Artsgarden wedding reception, I think it’s safe to say that it felt a bit surreal to FINALLY get to experience the event they’d planned more than two years ago.
After waiting so long for this special day, Eric and Kellie wanted nothing more than to spend time with their friends and family and to maximize their time on the dance floor.
As a result, we kept bride and groom photos short and sweet. (Eric and Kellie have A LOT of gorgeous photos from their ceremony day, which was photographed by Abby Fox Photography, who graciously referred me to Eric and Kellie for their reception.) We simply popped out the side door of the Indianapolis Artsgarden, grabbed a few photos in downtown Indianapolis, and then dashed back inside before both the rain and party started.
Then, once the party started, it STARTED! Between an incredible performance by Endless Summer Band and guests who were visibly ecstatic to finally celebrate Eric and Kellie, I think it’s safe to say that the Miles-Fink Indianapolis Artsgarden wedding was worth the wait!
Eric and Kellie, this day was a long time coming, but every detail was beautiful; every moment was filled with joy and fun; and the evening was simply perfect. I hope you loved every second of your long-awaited Indianapolis Artsgarden wedding reception.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for trusting me to be your wedding photographer for your reception. While I hope you love these previews and I cannot wait to share your full gallery with you, I hope you always love doing life together even more. Congratulations!
Between the Indianapolis Artsgarden’s elegance, natural light, clean lines, nearby photo locations, and attached hotels (which allow guests to easily stay and celebrate), I have to say I love everything about this downtown Indianapolis wedding venue. Eric and Kellie, you chose well! I couldn’t help but giggle a little when I saw these gorgeous centerpieces. You see, when I met with Kellie, she said, “We aren’t going to go all out on florals since this is our second celebration.” I’d now like to know what her definition of “all out” is, because the florals created by McNamara Florist were stunning! Like I said above, we popped outside the venue to take a few bride and groom photos. Eric and Kellie have phenomenal wedding photos from their ceremony day photographed by Abby Fox Photography. As a result, this stunning, sweet bride and groom wanted to thoroughly enjoy their wedding reception. We were only outside for about 10 minutes, but after waiting so long for their downtown Indianapolis wedding, Eric and Kellie certainly needed a few city bride and groom photos! Considering the way Eric looks at Kellie, this photo of casual chit chat with guests was too sweet not to include in their blog post! Between a great performance by Endless Summer Band and the fact that Eric and Kellie’s friends and family clearly LOVE to dance, Eric and Kellie’s Indianapolis Artsgarden wedding reception was a party until the very end!
